What is table foosball?

Table football, also known as table soccer, and known as babyfoot in France, Kicker in German-speaking countries, calciobalilla/calcetto in Italian and foosball in North America, is a table-top game that is loosely based on association football (soccer). The aim of the game is to move the ball into the opponent's goal by manipulating rods that have figures attached. Although rules often vary by country and region when the game is played casually, at the competitive level table soccer is played according to a unified code.

How to play soccer table?

To play foosball, you need 2-4 players, a foosball table, and a ball. Each player maneuvers 2-4 rods, controlling a total of 13 players per team. Players stand on opposite sides, twisting their rods to get their players to “kick” the ball into their opponent's goal. Just like on a beach, you can decide how you want to spend your time exploring it.  We attempt to empower you with all the resources and information to help you learn how to play the game of foosball much quicker than if you were to do it on your own.

Much like soccer, the object of foosball is to score the ball in the opponent's goal. The game can be played with 2 players or up to teams of 2 on each side of the table. Tournament and bar foosball is played with a total of 9 balls and the first team to 5 goals wins the game. If you are a beginner foosball player and are still learning how to play the game, we suggest you play the first team to 10 goals because there will be numerous loose ball goals and "spray" goals that are accidental. If this were to happen 2-3 times per game, you can see why a quick game of 5 would make it difficult to have a competitive game.
